Developing a large-scale industrial site spanning over 76 acres required advanced coordination across multiple infrastructure systems. The design needed to support heavy industrial use while addressing stormwater management, utility capacity, and site accessibility—essential for the high demands of a manufacturing operation.

The Challenge

Designing a 41.55-acre resort-style neighborhood in a growing region of Orlando required a comprehensive infrastructure plan that could support both residential and community amenities. The project needed to balance functional civil systems with the aesthetics and experience expected from a high-end resort and housing development, while also coordinating a roadway extension to connect with surrounding infrastructure.

The Solution

Our team delivered a full scope of civil engineering services tailored to the needs of this mixed-use development. The work included the installation of a lift station, utility systems, and a dry detention area for effective stormwater management. A comprehensive grading and drainage plan was implemented to ensure site stability, while pavement construction and a signage plan supported resident and visitor circulation. Additionally, we designed and managed the extension of Celebration Blvd., providing critical access to the site and surrounding community.

The Impact

Spanning 35.71 acres of developed land, Visions Resort and Spa will serve as a vibrant residential neighborhood with a central community hub. The project enhances the local housing supply and infrastructure, while creating a destination for both residents and guests. Our engineering efforts supported the seamless integration of lifestyle, utility, and long-term sustainability.
