
Landscape Architect
Overview
The Landscape Architect leads the planning and design of exterior environments that complement site functionality, aesthetics, and regulatory requirements across commercial, residential, hospitality, institutional, and mixed-use developments.
Key Responsibilities

Develop conceptual and construction-level landscape design plans.

Prepare planting plans, irrigation layouts, hardscape concepts, and amenity area designs.

Coordinate landscape design with civil engineering, architecture, and planning teams.

Ensure compliance with municipal landscape codes, zoning requirements, and permitting standards.

Support entitlement presentations, design packages, and client meetings.

Prepare cost-conscious, sustainable, and maintainable landscape solutions.

Coordinate with municipalities and permitting agencies during reviews.

Assist with project specifications and construction support.

Review contractor submittals and respond to field questions during construction.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture.

Professional licensure preferred (or ability to obtain).

3+ years of landscape architecture experience preferred.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Lumion, or related design software.
-
Knowledge of Florida landscape codes, plant materials, and irrigation design preferred.

Strong design sensibility and technical documentation skills.
-
Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams.
