
Entry-Level Civil Engineer
Overview
The Entry Level Civil Engineer supports the planning, design, permitting, and construction administration of land development and infrastructure projects under the supervision of senior engineering staff.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with civil engineering design for site development, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater, and roadway improvements.

Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and technical documentation.

Support preparation of construction plans and permit application packages.

Coordinate with surveyors, geotechnical consultants, utility agencies, and municipal jurisdictions.

Assist with due diligence reviews, feasibility assessments, and code research.

Participate in QA/QC reviews and design coordination meetings.

Respond to agency comments and support permit revisions.

Assist with construction administration tasks including RFIs, submittal reviews, and field coordination.

Conduct occasional site visits and project observations.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Engineer Intern (EI) certification or ability to obtain within 6–12 months preferred.

0–3 years of civil engineering experience.

Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and engineering design software.

Knowledge of land development and infrastructure principles.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
