Construction Superintendent

About Us

We are a growing commercial and multifamily Construction Management Company  seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead ground-up and renovation projects throughout Central Florida. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can manage all field operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and schedule performance.

Overview

​The Construction Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day management of construction activities on assigned projects. This individual will coordinate subcontractors, oversee quality control, enforce safety standards, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout.

  • Develop and maintain the project schedule in coordination with the Project Manager.

  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.

  • Conduct daily jobsite meetings and weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.

  • Ensure all work complies with contract documents, building codes, and project specifications.

  • Maintain a safe jobsite and enforce OSHA regulations.

  • Perform daily quality control inspections and identify deficiencies.

  • Coordinate municipal inspections and third-party inspections.

  • Review shop drawings and assist with constructability issues.

  • Track material deliveries and ensure proper storage and installation.

  • Maintain daily reports, site logs, and project documentation.

  • Work closely with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and project managers.

  • Manage punch list completion and project turnover.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or assistant superintendent.

  • Experience with ground-up commercial or multifamily construction preferred.

  • Strong understanding of structural, civil, concrete, framing, MEP, drywall, finishes, and site work.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

  • Strong scheduling and coordination skills.

  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar).

  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.

  • Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.
